Brothers George and Costas Georgiou took over Toff's in 1999. Toff's of Muswell Hill was put on the map by being voted the best fish and chip shop in the UK in 1988. Toff’s has since received a number of awards and accolades and has been rated 5 stars by the National Federation of Fish Friers. Trip Advisor has issued Toff's a Certificate of Excellence and Hardens awarded Toff’s a high quality food achievement.
George said we pride ourselves in consistently serving good food, we purchase our fresh fish daily and have experienced staff to cook it to perfection, we use the finest ingredients and we aim to give each customers a memorable meal.
George used to always say that our motto is
'We welcome you as a customer, but you leave as a friend'
