Our fish supplier is a member of the Marine Sustainable Seafood council and they assure us that all our fish is from sustainable stocks and fished with approved fishing practice. All our fish stock is traceable back to the fishing vessel and how it has been caught.
Large white flakes of fish meat, separating into segments as you cut through the cod fillet. It has enough substance to absorb traditional seasoning of salt and vinegar. As an alternative to having it battered and fried, this succulent fish can also be grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice.
Similar to cod and from the same 'Gadidae' family, it has more flavour then cod but is not as deep in fish meat and may not require as much seasoning. In addition to deep frying, this fish can be grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice.
With a pointed wing shaped fin from the flat ray family, it has pinkish flesh with long cartilage strips; mildly sweet in flavour, with a sticky and delicate feel. It is best grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon.

This fish can be deep fried with a matzomeal coating or grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice. Whole plaice is best grilled as this method retains its flavour better.
Also known as 'Rock salmon' or 'Dogfish' due to its facial features, it has a pinkish flesh with a cartilage backbone. Strong in flavour, it is best eaten battered and deep fried.
It has a distinctive look with pink flesh and meaty substance. A tasty fish that can also be enjoyed with red wine.
An oval shaped body from the flat fish family it is best eaten grilled with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon. It gets its name from being shaped like a lemon.
Considered the 'King of the sole fish family' it is narrower in shape then the Lemon sole and has a succulent tightly packed texture which is full of flavour.
The largest of the flat fish species, with a creamy firm and meaty flesh.
Served whole after being marinated in garlic, ginger, lemon and white wine, to fully enhance this flavoursome fish.
